These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dingolab ("we," "us," or "our"), a foreign language reading comprehension assessment service operated by Luke Medina. By accessing or using Dingolab, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Dingolab is intended for personal use by individuals aged 18 and older. By using Dingolab you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. Use by persons under 18 is not permitted.
Dingolab is a SaaS application that allows users to paste authentic text passages and receive AI-generated comprehension questions rated by proficiency level (ILR, CEFR, ACTFL). It is designed for individual language learners to measure and track reading comprehension over time. Proficiency level estimates are produced by AI and are labeled "estimated" throughout the application — they are not official certifications.
You must create an account to use Dingolab. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at lukemedina11@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Dingolab offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually. Subscription fees are charged in US dollars. When payment processing is enabled, accepted payment methods will be displayed at checkout.
Early Access pricing: Early access subscribers are grandfathered at their subscription rate for as long as their subscription remains active and in good standing. If you cancel and later resubscribe, current pricing applies.
We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscriptions at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any change to their billing rate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and following the cancellation steps. Upon cancellation, your access continues through the end of the current billing period, after which your account downgrades to the free tier. Your library and progress data are not deleted on downgrade.
If you are dissatisfied with Dingolab, contact us at lukemedina11@gmail.com within 14 days of a charge and we will evaluate your request. Refunds are issued at our discretion. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Passage text you submit is sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to generate comprehension exercises. By submitting content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that the content does not violate any third-party rights. Dingolab is designed for use with publicly available, authentic source material. Do not submit confidential, classified, or proprietary information.
AI-generated questions and feedback are provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
Dingolab and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Luke Medina and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of delivering the service to you.
If you believe that content on Dingolab infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to lukemedina11@gmail.com including: a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the infringing material, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief, and a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.
Dingolab may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Visiting linked sites is at your own risk.
Dingolab is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Dingolab shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Informal negotiation. Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at lukemedina11@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. The parties will have 30 days to reach a resolution.
Arbitration. If informal negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration. We agree to pay arbitration fees if they are deemed excessive. Arbitration shall take place in Florida. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
Litigation. If a dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, it shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Florida.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email to the address on your account or by displaying a notice in the application. Continued use of Dingolab after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
